Our Story
My name is Greg Molchan and this is my wife, Leah. Together we represent the Grand Rapids Dream Center. Having been friends since middle school, it was over 18 years ago when we knew it was God’s plan for us to be married. Today we have been blessed with a wonderful marriage and friendship, as well as three amazing children, Emmy, Noah, and Judah. It has been our heart, desire, and intention to raise our family with a strong foundation built on the love of God in Jesus Christ.
We come from two different backgrounds I grew up in northern Indiana outside of Chicago and moved to Michigan when I was 11. I had no church background and experienced some family separation;
seeing addictions, poverty, and brokenness. However my whole life changed when I gave my life to Christ when I was 19 years old. From West Michigan, Leah experienced family hardship, at times seeing the devastation of drug and alcohol addiction resulting in family separation. It was after God radically intervened in her family that she began to grow up in a stable family, giving her heart to Christ as early as seven years old and experiencing a great church community going
forward. Together, our heart passionately sees the desperation of many in our city who are disconnected from God, disconnected from His love, and a true sense of vision and purpose for their lives. While we see and feel that, we also see there are many people today that don’t just want to hear only about God’s love, but people are desiring to feel it, see it, and experience it in an authentic way. We are united and passionate to see people experience God’s love and the power of a changed life and destiny in Him.
Our heart for the Grand Rapids Dream Center is birthed from 15 years of full-time ministry experience doing missions, evangelism, and motivational events for communities and schools worldwide.
We have previously worked and served with The Conquerors International Strength Team, City Church, Prison Fellowship, and One Hope. We envision God’s plan for the Dream Center being accomplished by sharing His message of love through traditional and non-traditional methods of outreach, serving, equipping, and building people up.
Ministry Experience
Greg and Leah Molchan have 19 years of ministry leadership experience and are passionate for serving people both locally and at a global level in ways that educate, empower, and equip people
of every generation through a message of hope, love, purpose, and identity. Leah has faithfully served and continues to lead a thriving Bible study that has spanned over 15 years. Greg has traveled internationally on 27 different tours to 19 countries sharing his message of God’s hope, love, and purpose to over 100,000 people. He has developed and managed over 500 assembly programs occurring in schools throughout Michigan and the United States. In addition, Greg has also ministered in some of largest metropolitan cities in the world including Brisbane, Australia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Moscow, Russia; Riga, Latvia; Kiev, Ukraine; Budapest, Hungary; Lagos, Nigeria; Cebu City, and
Manila, Philippines, as well as San Jose, Costa Rica; Bogota, Colombia, other cities in India, Poland, Ukraine, Albania, and Israel. He has coordinated and performed events in over 30 prisons worldwide
and invested two years into helping with the development of the missions and youth programs at the City Church in Rockford, Michigan.
Their global travels and dynamic leadership experiences have immersed Greg and Leah within a multitude of cultures that gives them perspective when making new relationships with people of diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, their gift of communication enables them to make immediate connections on a personal level. These attributes have been fundamental in laying a successful foundation for the Grand Rapids Dream Center and
our team has complete confidence in their leadership for the Dream Center’s continued growth.
